"'Oh, Ma!' exclaimed Molly. She had finally arrived back with her family. At first I thought I'd like this book because of the setting of the story.

The main character is Molly Jemison. She and her entire family and friends are taken captive by Indians. She is kind and brave and she has only ever eaten things made from corn. An Indian decides to take her away to another village because she is young. Molly wants to get back to her family. She eventually does so after she recognizes a trader. The trader tells an Englishman to come rescue her.

I'd give this book a 5 because of the people and setting and it was well written."
