"My favorite quote was probably 'Hey Claude, I'll be your 'sponsibility the rest of...' because it shows that Claudia's siblings really do care about her. At first I though tI'd like it because Claudia and Jamie hid out in an art museum.
The main characters are Claudia and Jamie Kincaid. Claudia loves spending money and is the oldest kid in her family. Jamie loves saving money and is the second youngest in the family. they want to find out more about a statue of an angel that could have been carved by Michelangelo, but he only way to do that is to go to the person who sold it, and she lives in a different city. If they're gonna go, they can't get back on a bus [to return home], and Claudia hates walking long distances. They do find her, and she is Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. But she doesn't want to share whether or not Michelangelo carved Angel. So they make a deal. Mrs. Frankweiler gave them one hour to look through her files for information, but if they make a mess, the whole deal's off. And when they find it, they have to go home in a Rolls Royce with a chauffeur. They find a sketch of Angel and find that Michelangelo did carve it.
I'd give this book a 5 out of 5 because of the details of the pictures and they hide out in an art museum. I really liked how Jamie was really funny in how he used the fact that he managed the money as leverage to sort of irritate Claudia."
