This young adult fiction was a delight to read! The story follows three children who are orphaned and left without a guardian during WWII. They are sent to the English countryside in an effort to limit civilian casualties in London should any bombing happen. I won't reveal the rest of the plot, except to say that it involved a kind librarian, a quaint library (I want to go!), and an emotional ending. Five stars, highly recommend.
